The article also once again presents a very valid reason why we need to enjoy and savor the foods we are eating.  While I’ve been trying to practice mindful eating it’s not easy.  The baby starts crying midway through lunch and I hurry to finish to attend to whatever it is he may need.  The study presented links enjoying dark chocolate everyday to reducing BOTH sweet and salty cravings.  The big secret though being you MUST sit there and really enjoy it, no TV, computer or phone just you and the dark chocolate.

Needless to say I’ll be stocking up on dark chocolate the next trip to the grocery store 🙂
