Baked Onion Dip Recipe

This recipe was given to me by my friend Corrie, it is so easy and only has 5 ingredients!  Is it healthy? ABOSOLUTELY NOT!  Sorry, but on the upside it’s been a hit everytime I’ve made it.

2 small/1 medium-large onion
3oz. cream cheese (softened)
3 heaping tbsps mayonaise
2 cups shredded Parmesan cheese
Crackers for dipping

Preheat oven to 375.  Fine chop onions, and in a medium bowl mix onion with cream cheese, mayo and parmesan.  Spread mixture in a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes or until edges are golden to brown and bubbly


Other tips:

If you do not LOVE this dip, try baking it longer.  Once I did not bake it long enough, it was awful! I put it back in the oven and it turned out perfect.
I use Ritz crackers, but Corrie likes the Town House crackers with it both are very good
Just had a thought, since this dip is not healthy but if you are trying to low carb it then I’m sure it would also be great for dipping red or yellow peppers in.  I haven’t tried it with the peppers let me know if you do and what you thought!
