Weigh In Wednesday!

Fallyn and I at Universal seeing the Animal Actors show!

This weekend my husband and I had date night.  Something we are going to try to do at least once a month possibly twice a month.  We are doing this because marriage is work!  You don’t just get married and then think “OH! I’ve got him now!”  You have to work to get along, work to remember you are in love!  Because sometimes you will forget.  I could go on about this for a while so best I move along, we’ll save that post for another day.

We had date night, we saw This Means War, which was really cute and funny.  And, we went to dinner at Don Pablos.  Well, I had my will power and motivation all in tact at the beginning of the night.  But, one margarita (a very large margarita) and I forgot EVERYTHING!  I ate queso and chips, refried beans (which those two things were the best and if I go again and want to indulge I’m just getting that), then I ate a taco AND an enchilada.

This was a HUGE mistake!!!  Not for the normal reason of I had guilt, which of course I did, but because before we even arrived back at my dad’s to pick up the kids I WAS SICK TO MY STOMACH!  Then I felt sick the whole next day!  Like a food hangover.  Ridiculous and definitely not worth it.  I won’t be doing that again, I know words are words.  But, I told Vince he better remind me how sick I felt after eating too much if it looks like I may wander down that path again!

The moral of the story being once you start eating healthier for a while your body can not handle nor does it want all the junk you used to eat.

Starting Weight:  177
Last Week: 153

Today: 152

Fallyn and I at Seaworld. I wanted to include a few recent pictures in this post so you can see the difference. These aren't great but just to give you an idea of my loss.

Well, not as much as I would have liked to see, since my goal is two pounds a week.  But, I did not work out Sunday (because I still felt sick) or Monday (no excuse I just didn’t).  And I’m sure my over indulgence on Saturday did not help. Well let’s set goals moving forward.  Next week I would like to get off two pounds, and I LOVE to see 3 gone so that I’m back to my original goal of 2/week.

I also have been given a great opportunity.  I’ll share more once its all worked out, but I’m excited to see where it will take me!

AND one last thing.  If you haven’t already check out the new page KONY 2012.  The information no matter what your political affiliation, beliefs, religion whatever, you need to know what is going on and hear what this video has to say.  It’s 30minutes that will change your perspective.

Not Much to Report This Weigh In

Sadly, I do not have much to report to you this weigh in.  I am getting frustrated as you will see when I reveal my minimal weight loss over the past two weeks.  I did not weigh in last week because we spent the week at my dad’s house because my sister was in town.

Starting Weight: 177
Last Weigh In: 161

This Week:  160 😦

I’ve only lost one pound, I’m pretty sure I’ve hit a dreaded plateau.  So ridiculous.  No wonder people have a hard time losing weight.  You’re going along eating better, cutting out some of your favorite foods, you’re sore from working out and all of the sudden the scale stops moving!!!

OK, I’m done complaining.  I’m going to stick with the Body By Vi shakes.  Besides helping me stay on track honestly its very convenient for me to drink a shake for two meals rather than try to make myself something healthy.  I still like the Biggest Loser Challenge game for the Wii, I think I’m going to increase my workout times or do one of the extra workouts.  The only thing that is a little annoying that I thought I should share with you in case you plan to purchase the biggest loser game is that throughout the workout you are switching the remote from hand to hand, or putting it in your pocket and moving the balance board in or out of place.  I don’t mind it but when I was reading others’ reviews it was something people complained about often.

Only 6more days of my weight loss competition!  I have lots of work to do, Lindsey has lost about 21lbs.  I started at 179 so I’m down 19.  Its pretty close, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to catch up especially if she looses anymore weight.  Overall, I’m happy that I have been able to lose this weight and plan to keep going I’ll figure out a way to get past the 20lb mark and keep you posted on how I do it.  Its hard to stay positive, but I’m going to do my best.

Next week’s weigh in I’ll post before and after pictures, maybe that will make me feel better too 😉

Why I LOVE End Results Salon

This is just what I needed today after I unfortunately found 3 GREY HAIRS on Tuesday.  I just about died at the discovery of these greys!  I promptly called End Results and booked a cut, color and style with Victoria.  And as always came home feeling brand new.

It’s been a busy and a bit of a stressful week so my experience at End Results was really just what I needed, I highly recommend them not just for hair but all services.  Victoria and her staff welcome all their clients as if they are family.  Each person I saw walk out the door today walked with their head a bit higher and their smile a bit brighter, you could tell they felt more relaxed, more beautiful after the service they received.
